I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and retired from a management position in a natural gas utility company. Prior to that time, I worked for twenty-two years in a Union represented job. My husband retired from the
U. S. Postal Service after a 28 year career.
We are blessed with three children and four grand-children. Daughter Kim was a Load Master on a C-130 in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. She served in the Desert Storm conflict. She is currently pursuing her college degree and working part-time at US Airways. Daughter Sonya owns and operates a Day Care business for pre-school children. Her husband, Bob Brisby, works for a natural gas distribution company. They have two children, Kyle who works for the GoGrid Corp. in San Francisco and Kayla who is attending college and working at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Kayla's husband, Anthony Green, is in the Air Force. Son Mark is an English Professor at Ehime University in Matsuyama, Japan. He also writes English as a Second Language textbooks. He and his wife, Toshiko have two sons, Nolan and Colin.
Being actively involved in our community has always been a way of life for me. My current community affiliations are: Assistance League of Boise, Executive Women's Golf Association, and Daughters of the American Revolution. I have previously been the Chairman of the Library Foundation Board, the President of the Welcome Club of the Treasure Valley, a volunteer for the Garden City Police Department, United Way, American Red Cross and various other organizations.
BIOGRAPHY
My husband, Paul and I moved to Idaho fourteen years ago. We currently live in Garden City. We love the quality of life and the many educational, cultural and recreational opportunities available in Idaho.
