As your State Representative, I will continue to support legislation that provides for a diverse economy with strong businesses that will offer opportunities and
good paying jobs.
I support union workers and the issues that are important to the people of Idaho. We need to create a partnership between the business, government, nonprofit and education sectors. We need to work together to maintain the jobs that we have and bring new ones to our area.
Education
All Idaho children should have educational opportunities that will help them to become successful in the working world and be able to take advantage of the new job opportunities in Idaho.
Safety and Security
Every person in Idaho deserves the opportunity to lead a safe and secure life.
Ensuring public safety is a primary job of government. We must make certain that funds are available for officers, courts, jails and prisons to function properly in our society.
Environment
As the Treasure Valley grows, preserving our quality of life becomes more and more important. I will continue to be a strong advocate to protect Idaho's clean air, water and wild lands. Idaho public lands should not be sold to private developers who will cut off access to our hunting, fishing and camping areas.
Senior Citizens
Each Idaho citizen should have the right to make end-of-life care decisions for themselves. Those wishes must be followed.
